Dragon

Dragon Instructions
For the dragon you will need these basic shapes and pins

Body

Attach head to neck


 Attach neck to body
 

Attach tail to body



Attach legs to body

Wings

Wings are tricky to make for your dragon if you would like the to stay up like pictured below.  
To make the wings stay up you will need:
Pins and wings that are close enough to the body of the dragon to cover the pins

Wings that can support their own weight



Roll out clay on waxpaper


Sketch outline
 Check how the wings fit on the dragon.  If you like them keep them otherwise roll the clay out again an try a new shape/size

Set of wings that you like on your dragon


Put on black outlines of the bones in your dragon's wings


Flip your dragon over

Place pins so they are attached to the wings and partially inserted into the body

Add more pins as needed to make the wings stable

Use extra clay from the wings to cover the pins

Add spikes to the dragon's neck and tail

Make nostrils for the dragons nose

Add eyes

Add claws

Bake your dragon according to the instructions on your package of clay
